LinkedIn Copilot ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users write and improve LinkedIn posts using AI. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.

When you use LinkedIn Copilot:
The extension uses Google's Gemini AI API to generate text. When you use the extension, your writing prompts are sent to Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Gemini. You can review it at policies.google.com/privacy.
The extension only runs on linkedin.com. It does not access any other websites.
Your Gemini API key is stored locally in Chrome's storage on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing the extension or clearing the extension's data in Chrome settings.
LinkedIn Copilot is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
